PDS can produce Acoustic Rated Fire Doorsets up to 35db

Previously regarded as specialist products with a very limited range of applications which were generally confined to Public buildings, acoustic doorsets, as a consequence of higher-density living and ever-increasing demands on the Health and Education sectors.

Now widely specified to combat a diversity of noise pollution issues in both the commercial sector and within multi-occupancy dwellings such as new apartment blocks.

Specifically designed to reduce or eliminate noise disturbance in sensitive areas, whilst inhibiting the progress of fire and passage of smoke
Purpose designed, noise inhibiting tri laminate core

SPECIFICATION NOTES

Veneered pairs of doors will have book matched veneers as standard, on single leaf doors, though we endeavour wherever possible to offer doors with uniform veneer, due to the natural growth characteristics of timber, some variation will occur and should be expected.

All fire rated doorsets will be grooved and supplied with intumescent smoke seal strips as standard,with the seal supplied loose for fitting after decoration. Pairs of fire rated doors will have the seals factory fitted on the meeting stiles.
